What are the best lures for trout?
I live in PA and i fish quite often in a minute calm one of my current home ... it operates at about 15-20 meters wide and about 3-4 meters deep in the holes. I started with rapala with no luck and then a friend told me to try Kastmasters in 1 / 8 oz size no luck I switched to size 1 / 12 in Kastmasters and started catching fish. I am also very Acme Phoebe well with the size 1 / 12 as well. The Panther Martin seems to be the most popular trout lures but I have no luck with them at all. I tried all colors and sizes (1 / 8 and 1 / 16 oz) ... any help guys?
Sounds like a stream difficult. I love the PM (black / gold, arctic trout, Brown Trout, silver), try # 2 or # 1s if the 2 is too much splashing. All the lures you're talking about some weight and make noise. My trick is to throw Waaay ahead of where I actually think the fish are if the startup has not scare them. Wade at the next hole Always fish upstream-Any disruption in to ford or start your lure can send them running. The other thing you can try fly fishing with hoppers Joe (Methods grasshopper) and again, practice disturb as little water as possible.
