Magnet Kit
How do I build an electronic meter?
I want to build an electronic counter. This would be used to count the number of rotations a hamster wheel is a fixed amount of time. I read about them being with magnets or infrared. Does anyone know how I would this? If there is a kit I can get would be nice, but I'm looking to gain experience by myself. The lowest possible price. I ran across this, http://www.hobbyengineering.com/H1257.html is it a good start?
Try an electronic meter kit like this. http://store.qkits.com/moreinfo.cfm/K8035 It feature the ability to use a dry switch (not supplied) as a starter or a voltage sensor as an IR sensor. A sensor is a simple reed switch and magnet.
