How far should the jig jig trailer and colors match?
I know some people say that the trailer must match pattern the color of the head template (eg for white jig heads using trailers white, orange for orange jig head use or trailers red, etc..) But the combination of colors of the jig and trailer it really necessary for fishing success?
I Almost Never use the head of the same color as my tube, curly Tail Jigs marabout. combinations of colors can sometimes be the answer. In general, I not use unpainted, Chartreuse, white, black heads or template. I do not really want to mix them. As I am not a fish, I do not know exactly how they perceive color. I just want to make something that gives them an interest.
