how can I cut a round timber sliced on a bandsaw?
how can I cut an approx. 10cm round timber sliced on a bandsaw without rolling and stuffing up the blade? Is there a kind of template or clip system anybody know?
If you want to cut into round neighborhoods "... Balogna as, for example, a single flight of L-shaped work. Usually, this fence would L-dragging on a track like that found on most table saws. (You can buy or build, at a time, the table of the bandsaw, and the sliding gate) cut lengthwise newspaper is made by most mills, and there are even portable versions available. Doing this on a bandsaw size home could be a challenge, according to the length of the log, and space available. If I need to do a few times, I would like to build in plywood cons' followed by a " before and after the band saw. Then I could just screw a square plate (one at each end) to the log, having obtained a reduction fairly square on the end, of course. The square plate will hold the paper vertically, as it slides along the "track". Just what the title to make it more would help smooth ... as the use of scrap laminate, masonite, etc. Knowing what help is provided here. Are you decided to settle in Log numerous boards of directors? Do you need a flat surface? And of course, which side the paper need to be cut - Cross section, or tears?
