How do I use my new lure?
I got a Jitterbug, a Flicker Shad, a Rattlin 'Rapala RNR-4, And a storm Scatback lures. If someone could tell me what is the best way to use each thank you from a lake, river, or both Topwater or bottom of the casting and reel or Jerk Bait or something else
Most "New" lures come with instructions on the box that tells you what depth they are designed for, or if they are not sinking or floating, and how fast is recommended to get better. Depending on what they were designed to do, you may not be able to catch some of them on the merits, unless they are "floating", you probably will not be able to fish over either. A form designed for freshwater fisheries operate in both lakes and rivers, and probably also in salt water. Take water lures and experience with everyone. Real slow, medium and fast to see how this changes action. Note that the lips look like on the lure. lips usually short term and long shallow lips most often deeper. Lip-less lures that do not float can be fished deeper. Lures can also have adjusted their depth by adding weight to the line or lure. Some even attach to the sudden split Treble Hooks, but I think what tends to suppress the action of the lure and I do not recommend it. I would like add a photo of a foot or two on the front line of the lure. And with a lure you use, add a little jolt to your rod tip can also affect the action the bait during the retrieve. Again, take the lure of the water and set to work. This is a case where Experience is really the best teacher. What you see is what you get. And in this process, you just might GET also some fish great while you practice. Go ahead and good luck!
