I caught my first Minnesota Muskie in 1955 at the age of 14 years. It was near Ely Minnesota on Lake Farm. I kept it and it tasted like pike and caught on a lure called a minnow "Pikey" I do not think they make them longer, but it looked like a big Rapala Jointed.
