Bass Crankbait airbrushing?
wonting im starting to paint my own crankbaits.if I use an airbrush like the CR series revolution Iwata what type of paint is the best and can be used in an airbrush? acrylic .. What custom lure makers use?. Im just learning this stuff.for clear coat I think ill use two expoy party.
I use acrylic paint to paint my bass Poppers. Then I coat three layers of poly-urethane water-based. I painted some decoys before with the same paint and it worked well for me. As I mentioned earlier, once the drying of poly for a few days, its waterproof. If you want to put a little haggard pearlescence in your decoys look in your nearest shop hobby for a painting called FASKOLOR. FASCHANGE Their range of paints are the "flip-flop" type of this kind of exchange color when viewed from different angles. Real cool effect.
